Road Championship Races Rules 2025

To qualify for the Road Championship you must complete a minimum of 5 races, one of which may be any Road Marathon (you must inform the club of the date, venue and time for it to be included.) You can compete in as many races as you wish and your best 5 results will count towards your final score. Only your best time will count in the Cowm Reservoir 5K Series.

Please remember to count in the club championships:

  • You must have paid your yearly subscription
  • Wear your club vest in a Club Championship race
  • Rules: The official Club Kit shall consist of a green vest with black and white diagonal stripe with the words Middleton Harriers on the right hand side.
  • Members whenever competing in the name of the Club shall wear the official Club Kit.
  • If competing for an approved charity, members may with the approval of the committee wear the official charity vest.
  • The wearing of headphones, including Bone Conductors (Shokz – type) whilst training with the Club or competing in Championship races will not be allowed.
  • To count in the Club Championship a member must have entered as a Middleton Harrier and have paid your annual subscription, our Club Vest must be worn and you must enter as a “Middleton Harrier”, not “Unattached”.
  • ARC number: 6040264 (if required.)
