2023-24 Season

This year’s fee to enter the Cross Country Championship is a one-off payment of £16 – this gains you entry to all the seasons races (9 in total)
You NEED to finish in 4 races to complete the Club Championship.
1. You MUST wear your club vest in all XC Races
2. You must have paid your annual subs to the Club and England Athletics
3. You must have paid your Cross Country Entry Fee.
4. Your Cross Country Reps are Craig (07729 150997) & Cathie (079330 68708), please contact them if you wish to participate in the Series.

Collecting your number & Start Times

Numbers can be collected from our Club Tent at each event, you will use the same number for the season. Make sure you bring the correct number to the subsequent races.
SELCC start times* are 13:20 Senior Women, and 14:00 Senior Men. *New times for 2023-24
MACC start times are 13:30 Senior Women and 14:30 Senior Men.

*Race 1 Saturday, 7th October – Heaton Park (SELCC Middleton). Done
Race 2 Saturday, 14th October – Heaton Park (MACCL) Done.
Saturday, 4th November – National XC Relays (Mansfield) 3 or 4 @ 5K Done.
Race 3 Saturday, 11th November – Wyhenshawe Park (MACCL) Done.
Race 4 Saturday, 9th December – Heaton Park (SELCC Horwich) Done
Saturday, 16th December Greater Manchester XC Championships (Wythenshawe) (1st 4 men 3 Ladies to count) Done
Race 5 Saturday, 13th January – Tatton Park (MACCL) (Sale, Wilmslow etc) Done
Race 6 Saturday, 20th January – Marl Pits, Rossendale BB4 7SW (SELCC) hosted by Red Rose League.
Race 7 Saturday, 10th February – Kenworthy Woods (MACCL)
Race 8 Saturday, 17th February – Heaton Park (SELCC Oldham & Royton)
Race 9 Saturday, 2nd March – Sherdley Park (MACCL St Helens)
Saturday, 24th February 2024 – National XC Championship, Weston Park, Telford, Staffordshire.
*The race on 07/10/23 (Heaton Park) will not count towards our Club Championship as we host it.
