Joining Information

If Possible, please pay by Bank Transfer and follow sections 1, 2, 3 & 4 below.
If you are unable to pay by Bank Transfer and are paying by cash or cheque or you are unable to complete an Online Form go to Section 5 below.

1. Check you agree with the policies – Code of Conduct & Privacy
By joining Middleton Harriers you are agreeing to abide by our Senior Athletes Code Of Conduct and accept our Privacy Notice and GDPR policies. These can be read here:

2. Declarations
By completing the membership form and paying the Club membership you agree with the following declarations:
I Confirm that I am able to compete under ARC or England Athletics rules.
I agree to the taking and publishing of photos/videos when competing or training for the Club.
As a competing club member I agree to my personal data being shared with England Athletics In line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR.)
I accept that my personal data will be held electronically by Middleton Harriers & AC and England Athletics where applicable.

3. Pay Your Membership Fees
The Membership Fees for the Club comprises 2 elements:-

Club Membership fees = £16 – This element goes to the club and applies to all but Life or Social members and allows access to All Club Sessions.
Registration with England Athletics = £19 – This registers you as an athlete with England Athletics. Enabling you to run in National and Regional Competition as well as giving you a £2 discount on all England Athletic Registered Races. See full benefits here :- EA Benefits
Therefore to register for the Club and EA Membership please make one single payment of £35

Social Membership fees = £3 – This allows you to participate in all social aspects of the club: benefits, dinners, Club e-mails, Social Networking Groups such as Facebook and Whatsapp, volunteering, and attending the AGM.

England Athletics Registration
The Club will pay your England Athletics Registration fee as soon as possible. You should receive confirmation from England Athletics within 2 weeks of our payment.

4. Complete the Online Form
Before completing the Online form make sure you have completed the Bank Transfer and have the Reference Field to hand.  

• You require a valid email address.
• You require a Mobile Telephone Number.
• When entering Dates enter the whole year i.e. 1988 not 88
• Enter telephone numbers as 11 numbers with no space i.e., 07123456999
• You require an E-Mail Address

5. Paying Cash/Cheque Online Form Issues
If paying by cash or cheque, please complete the Online Form and state in the “Other Details” that you are paying by Cheque or Cash.
Get the cash/cheque to Ge Kirk (Membership Secretary), Steve Bassam (Treasurer) or Craig Sutherland (Secretary ) as soon as possible, contact details are below. We cannot process your membership until we have received payment. 
If for any reason you are unable to complete the Form, please email Ge Kirk at or Craig Sutherland (Secretary) at middharriers@outlook.com or use the “Contact Us” option above. They will arrange for someone to advise and support you in completing the forms at one of the Monday, Wednesday or Friday’s club sessions.
