How do I join Middleton Harriers Running Club?

Joining is simple! Visit our membership page, fill out the registration form, and pay the annual membership fee. Once you’re a member, you’ll have access to all our club activities, training sessions, and social events.

What are the membership benefits?

Membership provides access to our weekly training sessions, club races, and social events. You’ll also receive discounts at selected running stores and entry to regional and national running events. Plus, you’ll be part of a supportive community of runners at all levels.

What level of fitness do I need to join?

Middleton Harriers welcomes runners of all abilities, from beginners to seasoned athletes. We offer a variety of training sessions tailored to different fitness levels, so there’s something for everyone.

When and where are the training sessions held?

Our training sessions are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, typically starting at 6:00 PM or 6:30 PM. We meet at Middleton Arena, but please check our schedule on the home page for any updates or changes. We also have weekend long runs and occasional special training events.

Do I need to attend every training session?

Answer: While regular attendance is encouraged to make the most of your membership, we understand that everyone has different schedules. You’re welcome to join as often as you can, and there’s no obligation to attend every session.

Can I try out a session before committing to membership?

Absolutely! We offer potential members the opportunity to join a couple of sessions for free. This allows them to decide if they’d like to join the club. It’s a great way to meet other members and see if our club is the right fit for you.

How do I stay informed about club events and news?

Once you’re a member, you’ll receive regular email updates with information on upcoming events, training sessions, and club news. We also post updates on our website and social media channels, so be sure to follow us there as well.

If I am a running member, do I also need to be a social member?

No. Social membership only applies to individuals who are not running members. Running members do not need to purchase a separate social membership.
