Our runners had an amazing morning at the scenic Pennington Flash in what was a new event to many Harriers. With the weather hot and sunny, our runners were grateful for the shade afforded with the wooded paths and, in contrast to many of this season’s races the 5 mile trail race was relatively flat and fast and our runners took full advantage of this!
First home for the men was Wayne O’Connell getting a brilliant race 12th overall from Steve Bibby in second and Steve Lowe in 3rd.
The Ladies were led home by Jess Hanrahan who was 7th overall lady and 3rd Senior Lady, from Fiona Bolton (age cat winner!) and Kyrinda Carter-Moore in third. These ladies are having a great season and well done to them!
