We were treated to near perfect running conditions this Sunday after the recent heat with cool temperatures and only a bit of rain. This 10k race starts and ends near Ogden/Piethorne reservoirs in Newhey, crossing under the motorway towards Littleborough on some deceptively tough loose stony paths. We returned back over the M62 via Tunshill Golf club, up a long steep cobbled road before a nice grassy descent and woody dash to the reservoir dam to be greeted by a lovely table of drinks and treats (and free beers!) Harriers had some great results. There was another age category win each for Stuart and John H with a second in category placing for John W. First Middleton lady back was Katie and we had a strong run from Christine making her Run the Moors debut.
