Yesterday 9 harriers took on Turnslack Fell Race in Littleborough.

This classic race features 610m of ascent over 12.9km . It many parts of the race are pathless and there is long grass, tussocks, bogs and shoulder high bracken to contend with. There are several extremely steep climbs and it is very easy to get lost amid the many lumps, bumps, old mines and steep gullies. Many people went the wrong way, including some of the race leaders.

A massive well done to everyone who ran particularly Stuart who won his age category and came 9th overall and John H for an amazing V80 performance.
