Hot on the heels of the Norden 6 Mile race we had the first race in the Road Championship 5K Series. This season we opted for the Sale Sizzlers hosted by Sale Harriers at the Wythenshaw track, a flat course with the start and finish on the track giving our runners a great opportunity to get some fast times in over the 4 race series.
The Harriers took advantage of Thursdays fine weather and attended in strength, putting out a team of 23 against some of the north west’s best runners.

Our series is based on chip time and is based on the best result (Chip time) from any of the 4 events in the series. So there are plenty of opportunities to improve your position over the season.
