Cake Race

Saturday was Saddleworth’s Cake Race, a very popular 10 mile across the moors towards Marsden and back. There is a cake competition and all the cake you can eat back at race HQ.

The course involves 2 stream crossings and a tricky section through some woods.

We were treated to perfect running conditions with the rain holding off and some sunshine.

Well done to the 8 Harriers who raced. Shout out to Stuart who came sixth overall, won his age category, and all this after racing at Foe Edge on Weds and completing the 3 peaks race last weekend.
