One of our biggest ever New Years eve runs, a massive thanks to everyone for turning out today and taking the necessary kit to safeguard against potential falls and injuries, etc.

It was a great event according to the comments I heard. The dry weather certainly helped. 69 folk and 2 dogs completed the long run, shorter run and short walk.

Special thanks to Fiona Lynch for promoting and leading the long run and Mark Lawson for leading the shorter run and everyone who helped me find the route on the walk.

There were lots of photo opportunities and there are loads of photos on various sites. As ever we had a donations box and everybody’s generosity in donations for our charity draw means that £135 will be sent to Springhill Hospice which was chosen by Jo Lowe from Rochdale Harriers.
