Under John’s expert guidance we had a productive session at Dovestones reservoir practising our orienteering skills over some interesting terrain ranging from tarmac roads, woodland, grassy slopes and boulders. We had lovely crisp autumn conditions and by the time the bad weather came over we were safely in the cafe in Greenfield with coffee and flapjacks.
