Withins Skyline was the final race in this year’s Run the Moors fell championship. It consists of 6 miles and 300m of climb across the moors near Haworth, West Yorks.

After a very boggy climb we were treated to a view of Top Withins, a ruined farmhouse believed to be the inspiration for Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights. And some bemused day trippers were treated to the sight of a steady stream of muddy runners appearing from over the hill.

After leaving Middleton under fog we were treated to glorious blue sky and sunshine in Yorkshire. We had full male and female teams, meaning some good points for our Run the Moors placings and a top 20 finish from Stuart Litster.
