A classic Fell Race in North Yorkshire over limestone hills with no rain and a strong wind. What more could you ask for? Oh yes, a steep descent on the way home!
First home for the Harriers was Stuart Litster from Ashley McCabe and John Weaver in third. The ladies were led home by Martha Urwin, improving with every race from second lady Mary Murphy and Sandra McGrail who was narrowly ahead of Janine Jordan.
Prizes were awarded to Louise Buttererworth and Craig Sutherland for the most stylish descent coming off High Hill (it’s in the name).
