Post-Race Report: Close Park Relays Bank Holiday Monday 5 May 2025

Middleton Harriers were out this May Bank holiday at the Close Park Relays hosted by Radcliffe Athletic Club. Held at Close Park, Radcliffe, the event was a fast, flat two-lap, two-mile relay course, chip-timed with live results.

Out on the field we had both a men’s and women’s team with both our squads putting in excellent performances. The men’s team scooped the “Oldest Team” award by cumulative age, proof that experience counts! Mandy also came away a winner, picking up one of the spot prizes a great bonus for a great run!

Well done all who took part we’d love to see more Middleton Harriers on the start line next year this event should be on all on the local runners’ calendars and one we thoroughly recommend.
