Sunday 2^nd March. Heaton Park.

This is the last of the winter orienteering sessions and after plenty of practice it will be a competition.

There will be points awarded for each control post as shown on the info sheet. You decide which order you go to each post. Are you going for the 30 point, outlying high scorers or the central, 10 pointers? You can go solo or in pairs.

Meeting time will be 09.00 at the Stables Cafe. 30 minutes to study the map and plot your route. Please use the pay and display car park by the children’s Playground/House/Stables. Access via St Margaret’s entrance.

Maps and pens will be supplied.

Start time is 09.30 and finish is 11.00.

If you are late back you will lose 10 points for each minute.

There will be prizes for each participant and special prizes for the best performances. I have reserved 2 tables at the Stables Café for marking, chatting and prize giving. 11.00 – 12.00

A voluntary contribution of £2 will become the raffle prize which the winner may donate to the charity of their choice.
