The 14-mile race round Coniston Lake marked an exciting start to the 2024 road race season, drawing a great turnout of enthusiastic runners. Despite the looming threat of rain, the weather held off just long enough for all participants to cross the finish line, which added layer of satisfaction to the event.
The scenic route around Coniston Lake provided runners with breathtaking views and a challenging yet rewarding course. From winding paths to serene lakeside stretches, every mile offered a new adventure for the competitors.
It was a great start to the season, and I look forward to seeing what the rest on the 2024 road race season has to offer.
